It’s my annual break-from-tradition-and-share-a-personal-photo day (aka, an image from our wedding since it’s our fourth anniversary!). I will never forget what an incredible day we were blessed to share with our family and friends. You never know how many more times you will get to be surrounded by all of your favorite people in the world. Life gets busy and time moves on. That’s a reason why I cherish our photographs and have devoted so much of my life to photography. Photo credit to the fabulous Amber Kay. Hope everyone is enjoying the fall season!
It is amazing to already be reflecting back on five years. September 2009 is when I took a personal leap-of-faith to create a photography brand in which I wholeheartedly believe. It’s nice to know that five years in, I still feel the same way. With a move to Virginia comes a time of reflecting and rebuilding, but the core of Sweet Tea Imagery remains the same. It’s about family. Real moments. Simple, clean imagery. Priceless captures of time with those who matter most.
I look back with gratitude to all the families I had the privilege to work with, and look forward to continuing to photograph amazing families in the future!
It’s about time I got this gorgeous affair up on the blog. Congrats again to these phenomenal two people. It was such a pleasure and an honor!
As you may have seen on our social media, Sweet Tea Imagery has been in the midst of a transition this spring. We have relocated to the Charlottesville, Virginia area. Since both Billy and I are born and raised Central Virginians, it feels so great to be back home! We love the lowcountry so very much, and will always be back for weddings, vacations, etc. However, the decision to raise our family in the environment that we loved while growing up pulled us back to Virginia. It’s a new adventure, and I look forward to putting down roots here and working with an entirely different landscape. Hello, mountains!
Also, I want to use this post as an opportunity to thank all of my wonderful clients over the last four years. It has been such an honor to work with each and every one of your families. Chasing your kiddos around on the beach has been a dream. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
